tED magazine compiled a 2012 list of "rising stars" in the electrical industry that they call "30 Under 35." One of our own, Tara Logar, made the list for 2012.  Siemens Canada SPD Account Manager Tara Logar, has been with Advanced Protection Technologies, Inc. (APT) since 2008 when she began in an entry level position with no electrical experience. Since then, she has worked her way up through the ranks as a salesperson and has recently been promoted into a management role.  Her current responsibilities include managing two sales territories and several employees along with laying the groundwork for a new major account.  Tara has become very technically proficient in the field of surge protection. She works with consulting engineers, contractors and distributors daily, who have all come to appreciate her superior customer service, product knowledge and focus on saving them both time and money. She is fluent in French, which greatly aids APT and strengthens client relations with Canada. In addition, Tara is involved with several committees within the company and facilitates New Hire Training. 

tEd magazine is the voice for the top electrical distributors in North America. For the "30 Under 35" honorees, tED magazine drew in nominations from mentors, managers and industry leaders, looking for talented young professionals in leadership roles.

APT is honored to be the employer of one of the industry's rising stars. Tara is a remarkable employee and we are proud of her accomplishments. Tara is a prime example of the kind of work ethic and drive embodied in the employees of APT.
